The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver who fired multiple shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident on Interstate 4 in Volusia County on Monday night.
The shooting occurred at around 9:10 p.m. on Monday, July 1, in the eastbound lanes of I-4 in Deltona, between mile markers 105 and 108, according to FHP.
The 62-year-old male victim relocated to a nearby gas station after the incident and discovered that his vehicle, a blue Acura TSX, had been struck by bullets. He then contacted law enforcement to report the shooting.

According to investigators, the driver of the unknown sedan was described by the victim as a Hispanic man in his mid-to-late 20s with long curly black hair.
The victim told investigators that during the road rage incident, he attempted to separate himself from the dark sedan. Moments later, shots were fired, and five bullet holes were discovered on the right rear passenger side of the victim’s vehicle.
“No other identifying information was provided regarding the suspect vehicle or driver,” stated FHP in a media release on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim was not injured.
The shooting incident remains under investigation, according to FHP.
