Detectives have identified a woman who was killed last week in a fatal shooting on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Jade Monique Thomas, 49, was shot and killed in the 8200 block of S Orange Blossom Trail on Friday, July 19.
When OCSO deputies arrived on scene at around 3:50 a.m. on Friday, they found a woman, later identified as Thomas, who had been shot. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
In an update on Tuesday, July 23, OCSO stated that its detectives are “still in the early stages of this homicide investigation.”
No further details were provided by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office regarding the shooting incident or any possible suspect(s).
