An Orlando man is feeling lucky after winning a $1 million prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket he bought at a local Publix.

On Thursday, October 17, the Florida Lottery announced that 66-year-old Corbblin Dixon recently visited the Lottery’s Orlando District Office to claim a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH scratch-off game.

Dixon chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $640,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Publix located at 2873 S Orange Avenue in Orlando. The supermarket received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off.

The 500X THE CASH scratch-off game costs $50, and it features more than $1.66 billion in total cash prizes, including a top prize of $25 million. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.23, according to lottery officials.

In addition, two GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off tickets, which were purchased at a Circle K and Wawa in Orlando, won a $1 million prize.
