One person was hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon following a rollover crash at an Orlando intersection that trapped them beneath the wreckage.
The crash occurred on Tuesday, October 22, at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Fern Creek Avenue, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
OFD stated that crews responded to the intersection after receiving reports of a crash with entrapment. Upon arrival, they observed an overturned vehicle and one person who was “trapped underneath (it).”
After stabilizing the vehicle, firefighters managed to safely extricate the individual from the wreckage. The patient was then transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No further details were provided by the Orlando Fire Department regarding the cause of the accident or any other vehicle(s) that may have been involved.
