The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify 30 individuals who allegedly shut down an Orlando intersection and harassed innocent drivers two weeks ago.

According to OCSO, on the night of Saturday, November 30, a large group shut down the intersection of S John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway. The group then set a fire in the roadway, and cars proceeded to perform “donuts” around the flames.

The situation became more chaotic as participants in the illegal street takeover blocked other drivers from passing through the intersection. It then escalated into violence when some of the participants climbed onto the blocked vehicles and damaged them.

“This reckless and violent behavior poses a serious danger to our community and we are committed to holding those responsible accountable,” stated OCSO on social media.

On Thursday, December 12, the sheriff’s office released video footage and photos of 30 suspects (see below) that are being sought for their alleged involvement in the street takeover.
