A 22-year-old woman was arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a victim at a Kissimmee motel over a bad tip for a pizza delivery.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Riviera Motel located at 2248 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee on Sunday, December 22, in reference to a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, they located a victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. In an update, OCSO stated that the victim is in stable condition.

An investigation into the stabbing was launched by OCSO, and detectives discovered that the victim had ordered a pizza from a local restaurant earlier on Sunday evening. Alvelo had allegedly delivered the pizza and “become upset about the tip she had received.”

Alvelo allegedly returned to the victim’s motel room with an unknown man who was armed with a firearm. They then “forced their way into the room,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Once inside the room, Alvelo allegedly attacked one of the victims with a knife, which led to the victim’s hospitalization for treatment of multiple stab wounds.

In addition, multiple items were also taken from within the motel room during the incident.

Detectives soon identified Alvelo as a suspect, and she was located and arrested on Monday, December 23. She was booked into Oceola County Jail, where she is currently being held without bond. She is being charged with attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.

“This was an isolated incident at this address, and the matter remains under investigation,” said OCSO in a social media post on Wednesday, December 25.

The sheriff’s office added that the male suspect in this case has not been identified at this time.
