A personal finance website has ranked Orlando as one of the best cities to find a job in the United States.

On Tuesday, January 7, WalletHub released its 2025 Best Cities for Jobs list, with the City Beautiful claiming a spot in the Top 10.

To create the list, WalletHub compared 182 cities in the United States – including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state – across two key dimensions: “Job Market” and “Socio-economics.”

The company used more than 31 relevant metrics to grade each city on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for job seekers. Those metrics included job opportunities, employment growth, monthly average starting salary, job security, average work and commute time, transit accessibility of the workplace, housing affordability, annual transportation costs, safety, and family-friendliness, among others.

Orlando ranked tenth overall on the “Best Places to find a Job” list with an overall score of 60.95 out of 100. The City Beautiful also ranked 14th for its job market and 37th for socio-economics, which factored into Orlando’s Top 10 ranking.

Multiple cities from Florida also made the list, with Miami closest behind at #48. Other Floridian cities include Tampa (#56), St. Petersburg (#57), Pembroke Pines (#62), Fort Lauderdale (#64), Jacksonville (#92), Tallahassee (#124), Port St. Lucie (#132), Hialeah (#145), and Cape Coral (#154).
