A fast food franchise with thousands of locations, mostly concentrated in the western United States, will finally make a much-anticipated expansion into the Orlando area.
Jack in the Box announced earlier this week that a new franchisee has signed on to open over a dozen locations across Orlando and Rogers, Arkansas. The fourteen new restaurants will mark the first time the brand has entered the Arkansas market and a reentering into the Florida market after 30 years.
“Through my travels to the West Coast, I fell in love with the Jack in the Box brand,” said the new Orlando franchisee, Jonathan Peralta. “After returning home, I read that Jack in the Box was looking to expand in the Florida market, and I knew that was our sign. Jack in the Box checked all of the boxes of what we were looking for in a franchise opportunity.”
The franchisee signings come on the heels of a recent 37-store development agreement with other franchisees, according to Jack in the Box Chief Development Officer Tim Linderman.
“We’re excited to see the brand’s continued expansion into new cities and states across the country, as both of these groups bring tremendous experience to the Jack in the Box franchise system and are the perfect franchisees to open these new markets,” said Linderman.
Founded in San Diego, the company recently celebrated its 72nd anniversary. Currently, Jack in the Box operates more than 2,180 restaurants across 21 states.
