Edna Ayala was born October 5th, 1953, to her mother (Maria Pabon) and father (Ismael Ayala) in Humacao, Puerto Rico.

She was raised by her grandparents, (Angel Manuel “Papito” Pabon and Regina Pabon) where her aunts and uncles became more like siblings. Edna learned to sew and make her own clothes. She truly enjoyed it. She went on to graduate high school in Puerto Rico. She moved to Brooklyn, New York when she turned 18 for more opportunities and to be with her mother and siblings. At the age of 20, She became a loving mother to her son and firstborn David. She then went on to work at a stuffed animal factory. Later she multiplied her love and became a mom to two additional children her daughters Mariely and Milania. She was loved by everyone in her neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Edna had a deep passion for cooking and loved to feed everyone. In 1995, She moved her family to Orlando, Florida. Once there she started a career in Housekeeping and Hospitality. During that time she met the love of her life, Eladio Valle, where they went on to build a loving, humble life together. Edna continued her passion for cooking and always made sure her children, grandchildren, and anyone else that came along had a good meal to eat. She cooked with lots of love and seasoning and it satisfied all who enjoyed a meal.

She also loved Latin Music and loved to dance!! It was always a party at her house during the holidays and when celebrating milestone birthdays. Edna was loved by her family and will be missed immensely. To know her was to love her. She was wise, consistent, loyal and a good friend. She was unapologetic in all that she said and did. Her support for those she loved was unwavering. Our dear mother Edna Ayala gained her wings and entered eternal rest on January 2nd, 2024.
