Riley Wood, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Oviedo, Florida. Riley was born on April 29, 1935, in Funston, Georgia to parents Franklin Wood and Alice (Butler) Wood.
He is survived by his loving children Deborah Wood, Christian Wood, Allen Wood, Angela Johns, and Danielle Bruehl; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 50 years, Marcelle Wood and son Richard Gregory Flowers; parents Franklin Wood and Alice Wood; and siblings Christine McCall, Maggie Cory, Aubrey Wood, Wiley Wood, and George Wood.
