Jennifer Lopez has canceled her summer tour, just weeks before it was set to kick off in Orlando.
On Friday, May 31, the pop star announced on her On The JLo website that her 2024 U.S. tour “THIS IS ME…LIVE” has been canceled.
Representatives for Live Nation cited that Lopez is “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
In a message to her fans, Lopez stated that she is “completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.”
Lopez added, “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
The canceled tour was set to begin at the Kia Center in downtown Orlando on June 26. Anyone who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an automatic refund.
For those who used a a third-party resale website (i.e. SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc.) to purchase tickets to see Lopez, please reach out to your point of purchase for more details.
Lopez is a singer, actress, and dancer with a career spanning four decades. She is regarded as a pop culture icon and one of the most influential entertainers in the world.
