Margaret A. Shilling of Sanford, FL,,Passed away on October 26, 2023, at her home in Orlando, FL.
Peggy, also known as Peggy Ann, grew up in Natick, MA, where she was a 1973 graduate of Natick High School. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Sanford, Jr. and Margaret (Monahan) Sanford, who passed when Peggy was an infant.
Peggy’s husband and love of her life, Steve Shilling, predeceased her in 2017. They cherished and were sustained by their Christian faith through good times and bad. Avid fans, they loved attending Gator games and also relished their vacations at the ocean.
Peggy is survived by her loving daughter, Lauren Elizabeth (Jordan) Kelly and husband, Mike. Lauren’s father, Peggy’s first husband, Donald Jordan, is deceased. Peggy left a close and loving family, including brothers, Jim Sanford of Worcester, MA, Freddie Sanford, San Diego, CA, John Sanford, Holliston, MA, Bill Sanford and wife, Alicia, Uxbridge, MA, Mike Sanford and wife, Betty, Walpole, MA, Bobby Sanford of Orlando, FL, Pat Sanford and wife, Christine, Venice, FL, Paul Sanford, Natick, MA; sisters, Ginger Sanford of Framingham, MA and Mary “Bebe” Wilson and her husband, Steve in Hollis, NH; Mary (Gregory) Sanford, her loving stepmother from the age of four.
She also loved and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
