The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed in Orlando early Sunday morning.
According to OCSO, deputies responded to the 4800 block of W Pine Street in Orlando at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, in reference to shots being fired.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they located a male victim in his 30s who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The unidentified victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
In a media release on Sunday morning, OCSO stated that the investigation is “active and ongoing.”
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the shooting incident or any potential suspect(s).
