A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Orlando last week, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information from the public that could help bring his killer to justice.
According to OCSO, deputies responded to the 1800 block of American Boulevard at around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, in reference to shots being fired.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a 17-year-old boy, identified as Arthy Sony Cetoute, who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Two days later, Cetoute died from his injuries at the hospital.
OCSO detectives are actively investigating the homicide. No further details were provided regarding the shooting incident or any potential suspect(s).
In a social media post on Thursday, September 12, OCSO stated that its homicide detectives “need your help to catch (the victim’s) killer.”
