An Orlando man recently turned $50 into $1 million after purchasing a winning Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket at a local convenience store.

Clifford Rogers, 47, claimed the $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR scratch-off game at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office, according to the Florida Lottery.

Rogers chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

The winning scratch-off ticket was purchased from the Circle K located at 2924 2704 South Ferncreek Avenue in Orlando. The convenience store received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

The $50 scratch-off game, $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR, features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, along with a total of 234 prizes of $1 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50, according to lottery officials.

Last month, the Florida Lottery announced that two $20 GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off tickets, which were sold at a Circle K and Wawa in Orlando, won a $1 million prize.
