Update: In a social media post on Thursday, October 24, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office stated that Rosie Savetha Cristo has been found and is in good health.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing and endangered 15-year-old girl who was last seen over a month ago.
According to OCSO, Rosie Savetha Cristo was reported missing at around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17. Deputies immediately responded to her family’s residence, which is located in the 1600 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee.
An investigation revealed that at around 1:45 a.m. on September 17, Rosie ran away from home following an argument with her parents. She was last seen on a Ring Doorbell camera, as well as on foot, in the area of O’Berry Road, off of Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee.
Rosie stands approximately 5’1” tall, weighs around 140 pounds, and she has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair with purple tips. The left side of her nose is also pierced.
When Rosie was last seen, she was wearing a gray shirt with blue stripes on the sleeves, and she was carrying a blue backpack.
“Detectives have been actively pursuing an investigation to find Rosie since she was originally reported missing,” stated OCSO in a social media post on Wednesday, October 23. “Rosie has never run away before, and she does not suffer from any medical conditions or take medication.”
