A 57-year-old Orlando man was killed on Sunday morning after he lost control of his car and crashed into a building in Orange County.

The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Narcoossee Road and Las Vistas Drive in Orlando at around 7:25 a.m. on Sunday, November 3.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling in a 2011 Toyota Camry when he lost control of his car shortly after entering the parking lot for MobilityWorks (7260 Narcoossee Road).  

FHP stated that the car proceeded to enter an embankment before re-entering the parking lot and striking a mailbox. The vehicle then collided with a building.

The car’s driver and sole occupant was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, according to FHP.

A trooper noted in the report that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
