Deborah Ann Crenshaw, 52, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2024, in Orlando, FL, due to complications from cancer.
Born on August 1, 1972, in Rockledge, FL, Deb is survived by her husband of 20 years, Dan, and their son, Andrew. She is also remembered by her father Gerald Goldstein and brother Louis Goldstein.
Deb will be remembered as a fighter, having survived metastatic breast cancer for over seven years before eventually succumbing to blood cancer after a nearly two-year struggle. In addition to her resilience, she will be cherished for her great passion for baking and her wonderful desserts, but most of all, for her incredible love of animals.
Deb was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Goldstein, as well as her many cherished pets: dogs Tzotz, Playmate, Penny, Sputnik, Sturm, Tika, Oreus, and Lily; cats Imp and Mithral; ferrets Bandit, Dragon, Taz, and Zoey; and numerous gerbils, hamsters, rats, and fish.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 6 p.m. at DeGusipe funeral home, followed by a reception. All are welcome to come and celebrate Deb’s life and legacy. The service will be webcast for those unable to attend. The family is requesting that all who attend her Celebration of Life wear cheerful and bright colors instead of the traditional memorial attire.
