A new curated book collection by a local couple has opened for business at a popular downtown marketplace collective.
Zeppelin Books, which is owned by the husband and wife team of Alex Gurtis and Andrea Penuela, officially celebrated its grand opening at the North Quarter Market in downtown Orlando last week.
From novels about time-traveling cafes and millennial ghostwriters, to memoirs that explore identity, Gurtis and Penuela have curated a wide variety of selections that will satisfy any palette.
The couple spent years visiting coffee shops and bookstores across different cities before deciding to try their hand at their own curation.
Located at 855 N Orange Avenue, the new shop joins a collection of others that call the space in the base of Nora home, including Guacamoli Co. and CREDO Coffee.
The new bookstore is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on Sunday.
